Dry Needling Introductory Course

It’s a new way to evaluate and treat the conditions related to neuromyofascial pain & dysfunction found in the majority of the orthopedic population (acute & chronic). Our Introductory Course includes details about Neuromyofascial pain & trigger points. It also includes Assessment & use of Dry Needling Techniques to treat trigger points. It covers 23+ muscles which are safer to practice at the introductory level with basic knowledge of Dry Needling. This 2 days course is meticulously designed to keep the time-constrained issues & economical factors in mind

There is a similar scenario in developing countries like INDIA & across south-east ASIA. In the majority of these countries, the onus is on the physiotherapists only, to update their knowledge & to learn new techniques. So, doing the CPD Courses is extremely important & sparing time for it is equally challenging. We have considered these issues and designed these Dry Needling Courses with maximum content in the shortest possible time & economical fee structures. We also evaluate the participant’s knowledge & skills during the course by conducting a written & practical test. We maintain the highest standards & quality in delivering these courses with regularly updated content & evidence-based practices.

Course Objectives

  • To define myofascial trigger points & neurological presentations of neuromuscular dysfunction
  • To review the latest available literature & current studies supporting the efficacy and rationale of Dry Needling treatment
  • To instruct the application of Dry Needling for the majority of orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions
  • To able to develop a habit of doing a comprehensive assessment of the patient
  • Review the anatomy of the structures included in our introductory course
  • Discuss safety, contraindications & indications for Dry Needling treatment

What I can I treat after successful completion of Dry Needling Introductory (level-1) Course?

The prime focus of the Dry Needling introductory (level 1) Course is, the treatment for the pain management & the sports injuries.

  • The Hip (Including Gluteus muscles & TFL)
  • Lower Extremity (Including Gastrocnemius & Tibialis Anterior)
  • Shoulder (including major Rotator Cuff muscles)
  • Lumbar and Cervical Spine (Including needling of the Multifidus Muscle)

  • Muscle charts showing all muscles covered in Introductory (Level-1) course

Course Eligibility:

  • A degree qualification in either: Physiotherapy or a Medical Doctor working with patients of musculoskeletal conditions & pain management.
  • Every Course participant are going to be the subject (model) during the course.
  • This course is not advisable for anyone who is pregnant (unless they are prepared to bring a friend willing to be needled on their behalf)

Course Limit:

There is a good instructor / participant ratio & we usually have around 15-20 participant.
